Parat Risos and BlauBlauBlau

Ready for use 10/10.

With both our Parat Risos and our BlauBlauBlau Cyanotypes, we create complete, ready-made small artworks –
individually printed, framed, and packaged by us in Cologne-Ehrenfeld.

Some time ago, an old GR3750 Risograph moved into our workshop.
We’ve not only grown very fond of it, but we also put it to good use.
Risographs are stencil prints made using the cylinder printing process, based on the principle of screen printing.
This Japanese invention gained popularity in many government offices and schools in the 1980s, but today it enjoys a growing fan base among designers, artists, and other people with good taste due to its unique palette of spot colors.
Each Risograph print is unique, as the position of the printed colors varies from sheet to sheet.
Our Parat Risos are therefore not only incredibly beautiful to look at but also truly one-of-a-kind.

Equally unique are our BlauBlauBlau Cyanotypes.
Cyanotype is one of the oldest noble photographic printing processes in the world.
We were bold enough to sensitize papers, arrange motifs, and expose them in bright sunshine.
That's how it works.
The unique pieces created in this way were then reproduced using the Giclée process and set in beautiful real wood frames.
