Exciting insights into the Bongusta brand

The idea: "Create something that lasts"

Behind Bongusta is a family business with a clear goal: to design things that are more than just beautiful. Products that have character, are durable – and bring joy into your home with a certain wink. From minimalist bath textiles, such as the Naram towels, which are available in many colors and countless sizes, to practical everyday helpers like the Naram Totebags or the Naram Weekend Bag – each piece tells a story and creates an atmosphere.

The material: Naram.
Tangible luxury and visible quality

At the heart of their collections is Naram – a high-quality material made from combed cotton, originally from the fashion world. It impresses with its exceptional softness, high absorbency, and extreme durability. The double-woven thread makes each product particularly robust, while different grammages from 300 to 900 g cater to individual comfort needs. The best part: All Naram products are OEKO-TEX® certified – meaning they are tested for harmful substances, skin-friendly, and produced with environmental consciousness.

Responsibility is not a trend, but an attitude

Textile production leaves its mark – Bongusta knows this and addresses this fact with conscious responsibility. The materials used come almost exclusively from natural or recycled sources. Why? Because cotton with natural fibers requires fewer chemicals, recycled fabrics save resources – and because sustainable thinking is simply part of the brand's philosophy. Bongusta adheres to strict environmental and social standards. Collaboration with certified partners, regular visits to production sites, and local employees ensure that not only the quality is right, but also the local conditions. The next big step: GOTS certification, which will be implemented in 2025.

Transparency and durability

Bongusta relies on long-term partnerships – currently with five carefully selected suppliers who convince not only with quality but also with their values. The Bongusta Care Club also provides tips on how to properly care for the products. So that the beautiful pieces remain a part of everyday life for as long as possible – or find a new home if you ever decide to part with them.

Our conclusion: Beautiful, high-quality – and with attitude

Bongusta stands for much more than just beautiful products. It is a lifestyle that combines design, quality, sustainability, and social responsibility. Those looking for genuine favorite pieces with personality will find inspiration, warmth – and a little piece of Danish happiness here. We are huge fans of Bongusta, and if you happen to be in Cologne, Berlin, or Düsseldorf, you are welcome to visit our shops to take a closer look at the products.
